For those of you who joined us for our Farewell weekend, you know what we mean. For all of the unfortunate circumstances we’ve encountered over the years of playing live shows; be it weather conditions, poor advertising, having a show the same night as a Sox game! We are pleased to say that “everything went off without a hitch.” We couldn’t have scripted it any better.
Not only did we enjoy three of the most memorable shows in BFT history, but YOU were all there to enjoy it with us. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts. Know that YOU have been instrumental (no pun intended) in fueling this band of brothers. YOU, who have bought merchandise, come to live shows, or simply passed the music on to a friend. We have built this band on the foundation of all of YOU, our supporters.
This weekend was a spectacular example of the power of a grass roots movement. What started as two friends who loved playing music to bring close friends and family together, ended in a historic weekend of 5 friends selling out shows and bringing many of those same close friends, family, and a couple thousand other folks together for an unforgettable weekend of music.
“Don’t know much about success, but I know how to measure it,” it’s looking out into a crowd of young, old and as diverse as they come all sharing that common thread that binds each and everyone of us…… joy.
It has been our most ultimate pleasure to create these soundtracks to you’re journey’s. Whether they walk you down the aisle, propel you down the mountain, or rock you to sleep , we are glad that our music has made it’s way into your life. We hope it’ll always have a place there, and bring back a little bit of that joy when you need it. In our absence we hope that you will continue to spread the Truth far and wide. We also ask that you keep an eye on our solo endeavors and help to push them along. As always, we will keep you in the loop on anything happening in our future. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to be a band!
